Starting as a simple home business, Pricilla Maddox envisioned a business where cooks and bakers alike could have professional, commercial kitchen services to assist their own cooking business needs. In 2000, Maddox opened Kitchen for hire, where cooks working from their own homes could rent a professional kitchen.

As a service oriented business, Kitchen for Hire is in a unique position to help other businesses on Washington Avenue grow as they continue to expand and offer more homemade foods and treats.

At the end of June, Kitchen For Hire will transform into The House of Flavor, a BBQ take out restaurant.
