WAPHA Merchant Meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at local businesses. Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 9th, 9:45-11am at Tabernacle Free Church, located at 747 Washington Avenue, corner of Sterling Place. Guest speakers, Wellington Chen of Chinatown Partnership, Doug Jones of Bed-Stuy Gateway, Jennifer Stokes of Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, and Tricia Lee, business owner of Polish Bar will speak to merchants and community members about what it means to form a Business Improvement District. This is an important meeting because WAPHA is considering forming a Business Improvement District. Please come, even if only for a short while.

Street Beautification Committee Is Bringing Tree Guards & Plants to Merchants

WAPHA's Street Beautification Committee is bringing tree guards and plants to merchants in Prospect and Crown Heights. Tree guard installation will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, beginning at noon. Planting will take place in the tree beds the following Saturday, June 9th. We need your help!
